Rimfire Carnival Chair: Bryon Fessler - firstshots@ncrgc.org
The 9th Annual Rimfire Carnival was a huge success! From stage design to preparation, parking to registration, food preparation to door prizes, the Club’s premier annual event took over 120 volunteer hours to plan and 250 volunteer hours to execute. 150 people attended the event, including 100 shooters. I personally want to thank the 12 Range Safety Officers (RSOs) who volunteered their time and talent to ensure a safe and fun event. Over 20,000 rounds of 22LR were fired down range without incident. Special thanks goes to my family for helping with registration and for grilling 150 brats and 100 dogs along with 120 bags of chips and 160 bottles of water. This is the second year that the Rocky Mountain Young Marines helped with parking and logistics prior to the event, and everyone was impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. Oorah! Our wonderful sponsors included Ruger, Chipper's Lanes, Burris Optics, Scheels, Mile High Shooting Accessories, USA Liberty Arms, NSSF—The Firearm Industry Trade Association, the Buck family, the Pruitt family, and the Tapias family. This event is truly enhanced by their generosity and commitment to the shooting sports. Thank you sponsors! This is truly a family event, and I am honored to be part of it. See you next year!
